Specific skills profile 

This master's program is designed to train the student in a set of subject-specific competences, in both theory and practice, which can enable him or her to practice professionally or conduct research in the field of teaching and learning in digital environments. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following:

- the implications of the information society for education;

- the main theories underlying e-learning;

- specific examples of current and past research in e-learning;

- the characteristics of ITC training in different professional and institutional contexts;

- the advanced applications of technology in education.


With regard to skills, the student will be able to:

- design a network-based educational project;

- design and conduct a basic research project;

- use contrasting critical approaches to review research findings;

- intervene in digital training management;

- design and manage ITC training.


Cross skills profile 

One group of competences to be acquired in this program are generic and are designed to reinforce abilities, skills and attitudes the student will already have learned in his or her previous studies. These will include:

- capacity for analysis and synthesis;

- information management skills;

- oral and written communication skills in the student's native language;

- capacity for generating new ideas (creativity);

- capacity for applying knowledge in practice;

- computer skills;

- multidisciplinary teamwork skills;

- critical and self-critical abilities;

- decision-making
