Workshops on educational research topics applied to the new virtual contexts of learning and  university teachers innovation. GREAV has done the following workshops:

Alliance with the Foundation for the Knowledge Society-Citilab (Cornellá)

The Foundation offers Citilab (http://citilab.eu/), a new model of “Urban Lab” that is located in many parts in Europe and creates a new relationship between the old “Technology Center” and the current “Knowledge Center” and the users, and the use of ICT and Internet, based on processes of participative innovation.

By agreement between the Foundation and University of Barcelona (through a research body called Digital Education Observatory, in which GREAV is involved) advice is given on the design of a Spanish Center for e- learning (promoted by Citilab) creating a specific project inside itself called EduLab, destined to carry out educational innovations in the formal Educational system, through use of Internet and advanced educational methodologies.

Use of e-portfolios

The results of the project about electronic portfolio, called Carpeta Digital, which is still under development, have already produced transference of knowledge, in this case to other universities which have been using this tool and implementing the pedagogical methodology proposed by GREAV: Universidad Centroamericana de Managua (Nicaragua), Universidad Católica de Temuco (Chile) y Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Mexico DF). Network Rural schools

The project Rural Wings has created a net of rural schools connected to Internet by satellite in Spain (with four rural schools in Catalonia). Thanks to this network, the participating schools, with the support of the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia, have obtained a “scholar association”, project of collaborative networks of rural schools (http://escuelaruralvirtual.wordpress.com/).

Project Documents PUENTE 

The project “Puente” has produced a document called “PUENTE, intergenerational learning mediated by technology”, distributed electronically by FUTURE LAB (*UK) in their web page. Also the document "Transferibilitat del entorns d’aprenentatge intergeneracional a contextos d’educació formal” which is distributed in Museum and Schools in Catalonia and Spain.

The collaboration between GREAV and the Museo de Historia de Cataluña is still in the negotiation phase at present concerning giving pedagogical and technical support to the activity “El consejo de Sabios” (the council of wise men).
