Abstract: This research aims to understand how women use, live and relate to information and communication technologies (ICT). Previous investigations have demonstrated the existence of the digital divide in relation to gender: access, use and preferences of boys and girls in relation to ICT are different.
Our intention is to go one step further in exploring the digital divide. We do not intend to return to show that it exists, our goal is to know how the women use ICT, their relationship with them. This will outline proposals to empower women and provide ICT as an instrument itself, and últil required for different areas of your life.
